About Mary Queen Trade

A house built around texture, culture, and care — from the first conversation at the table to installs across the country.

Who we are

Hi, I'm Ada, the founder of Mary Queen Trade. I grew up inspired by my mother, a self-made entrepreneur in Nigeria who gave us the gift of a world-class education in Canada. When I moved here, I noticed the hair quality didn't match what I was used to back home.

In 2015, after my first child was born, I began importing premium hair from Nigeria for family and friends. That small idea has grown into a trusted brand known for high-quality hair at fair prices.

Our story is rooted in community. Every purchase supports the Black community in Canada and helps strengthen the businesses and makers back home. We share the warmth of African culture, the authenticity of African products, and we do it at a competitive price.
